Prohauling Relay — Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Prohauling Relay ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension designed for Amazon Relay truck drivers. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension collects, how it is used, and what is never collected.

2. Data Collected and Transmitted

The Extension transmits the following data to our secure backend server (hosted on Railway):

Email address: Collected during purchase via Stripe and used to issue and manage your license key.
License key: Sent to our server on activation and periodic verification to confirm the license is valid and active.
Device token: A randomly generated identifier stored on your device, used to associate a license with a single installation.
Telegram chat ID: If you configure Telegram alerts, your Telegram chat ID is stored locally and used to send load notifications to your Telegram account via our backend.
Driver phone numbers: If you configure voice call alerts, phone numbers you enter are used solely to place automated load-alert calls via Telnyx. They are not stored on our servers.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored exclusively on your local device using the browser's built-in chrome.storage API and never transmitted:

User preferences: refresh interval, filter settings, sound preferences, language choice.
Daily load statistics and session counters.
Telegram configuration (chat ID, bot token).

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

No Amazon Relay credentials or login data.
No load data, route information, or earnings data is sent to our servers.
No browsing history outside of relay.amazon.com.
No analytics, advertising tracking, or fingerprinting of any kind.

5. Auto-Booking Disclaimer

The Extension includes an optional auto-booking feature that, when enabled by the user, automatically interacts with the Amazon Relay website to accept loads on your behalf based on filters and criteria you configure.

Auto-booking is disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled by the user.
All booking actions are performed locally within your browser session — no load data or booking confirmations are transmitted to our servers.
You are solely responsible for any loads booked through this feature. Prohauling Relay accepts no liability for missed loads, incorrectly booked loads, or any consequences arising from use of auto-booking.
Use of this feature must comply with Amazon Relay's Terms of Service. Prohauling Relay does not guarantee compliance with any third-party platform's policies.

6. Page Content Access

The Extension reads the content of pages on relay.amazon.com only. This is necessary to detect new loads and apply your filters. This page content is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.

7. Permissions Explanation

storage: Saves your settings and stats locally across browser sessions.
alarms: Schedules periodic license verification and daily stat resets.
tabs: Opens Amazon Relay when you click the extension icon.
host_permissions (relay.amazon.com): Required to read the load board and inject the monitoring interface.
host_permissions (prohauling backend): Required to verify your license and relay Telegram/voice alerts.

8. Third-Party Services

Stripe: Handles payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Telegram: Used to deliver load notifications if configured. Subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy.
Telnyx: Used to place voice call alerts if configured. Subject to Telnyx's Privacy Policy.

9. Data Retention

License and account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted upon request. Email addresses are used solely for license management and transactional emails (license key delivery, activation alerts).

10. Children's Privacy

This Extension is intended for adult truck drivers. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
